Caroline Bilal
Director, Program Design and Production
Caroline joined Turnaround for Children in 2015 as Director, Student Support and in 2016 transitioned to Director, Program Design and Production. In this role, Caroline oversees the tool development process for Turnaround’s programmatic model and curriculum content related to student support systems.
Prior to joining Turnaround, Caroline served as Project Director of a longitudinal research study at New York University that aimed to bridge research-based mental health and education best practices in high poverty schools through partnerships with several of New York City’s school and community agencies. Through her work, she earned the Outstanding Research Contribution Award and co-published several research studies about her work. She is also a certified trainer in the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) and has trained professionals across the country.
Caroline earned an M.A. in educational psychology and research from New York University and a B.A. from Beloit College in Wisconsin. She lives with her husband and two sons in Westchester.
