IT Systems Engineer

Andrew Marty joined Turnaround for Children in 2017 in the role of IT Systems Engineer. As a member of Turnaround’s Information Technology team, Andrew provides high-level software and hardware support; administers Office365, cloud antivirus protection, remote software implementation; designs networks and more. He also onboards and trains all new staff as well as conducting refresher trainings for current staff.

Prior to joining Turnaround, Andrew worked for Steven Winter Associates as a systems administrator. There, he redesigned the company’s IT infrastructure, maintained numerous server environments and managed software and hardware repairs and upgrades – always solving issues with a smile.

Andrew holds a B.S. in network communications and management from DeVry University.

What motivates you?

People coming over to me and telling me “thank you for fixing my issue(s).” It’s one of the greatest feelings in the world to know that you have the power to fix and improve things with the knowledge you hold.

What is the greatest invention of all time?

Cloud storage. Your files being accessible on all of your devices? Awesome!
